Small world
big play

Maggie is a mother of three living in Quinte West. Through years of teaching art to learners of all ages, she has experienced the power of open-ended play. With younger ones, this included a tonne of playdough. It started with a recipe from her mother-in-law Dorothy's time at Sussex Elementary, in New Brunswick. Years of play and experimentation later, came the squishiest, longest-lasting playdough! Small World Big Play playdough and playkits are following in the small world play tradition of Reggio Emilia education. The playkits are wooden, stainless steel, and cotton, and the playdough is handcrafted entirely of natural ingredients, safe for little ones and fully compostable. Maggie's goal is to provide sustainable products, and opportunities for empowering, creative play!
